  • Overview


    Child & Family Support Services is accepting applications for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) at our Phoenix location.

    Under the agency's policies and professional requirements, this position will provide individualized psychiatric care to children and families.


    • Candidates must demonstrate an ability to relate to and build positive connections with children and adults, be comfortable working in a strength-based and family-centered approach and be able to work effectively within a team environment.
    • Complete Psychiatric assessments, diagnose and prescribe medications as well as oversee ongoing medication management functions.
    • Complete required documentation and reports (internal/external).
    • Work collaboratively with a clinical team centered in a wrap around philosophical modality.



    Other duties related assigned.



    • Current NP license with at least five years of full-time behavioral health work experience.
    • Current DEA Registration


    The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is required to submit a negative substance abuse test and provide fingerprint and criminal history background clearance. CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention are required trainings that are provided by the agency.
