    Child & Family Support Services is accepting applications for a Director of Talent Acquisition in our Phoenix location in support of operations state-wide. 

    The Director of Talent Acquisition will work in close partnership with the Chief Business Officer and other members of the executive leadership team to develop, manage and implement talent acquisition (recruiting) strategies to resource our program goals and initiatives across Arizona.  The Director will be responsible for all sourcing, interviewing and pipeline management of active and passive candidates.  Effective pipeline management to efficiently and effectively move candidates through the recruiting process, all while ensuring a welcoming, top-notch candidate experience from first contact through completion of the hiring and on-boarding process.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and drive recruitment strategies, prioritize team resources and manage performance metrics to achieve hiring targets
    • Develop an effective, high-quality recruitment team to achieve agency talent goals through hands-on management and coaching
    • Develop and leverage relationships with candidate sources (networks, agencies, professional organizations, career centers, colleges and universities).
    • Drive additional strategies for sourcing talent such as through conferences, career fairs, social media, etc.  Manage recruiting events.
    • Provides full-cycle recruitment efforts: sourcing, telephone screenings, in-person interviews, coordination with Human Resources for background and drug screens and other on-boarding task. 
    • Partner with leaders/hiring managers across the organization.

    The position will require a variety of skills such as active listening, reading and comprehension, oral and written expression, critical thinking, and problem solving. The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds, are required to submit a negative substance abuse test and able to obtain fingerprint and criminal history background clearance. Reliable transportation is required, including proof of insurance and an acceptable driving record.

    Qualifications

     

    • Must be 21 years or older.
    • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience conducting full-life cycle recruiting.
    • Demonstrated success in recruiting all levels of talent from professional to para-professional.  Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred.
    • Must have experience negotiating candidate offers.
    • Skilled with building rapport quickly and forming strong relationships with candidates, decision makers and customers internally/externally.
    • Experience managing data, reporting and effectively utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) required.
    • Proficiency must be demonstrated in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Google Sheets.
