Overview

 

Child & Family Support Services is accepting applications for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) at our Phoenix, AZ location.

Under the agency's policies and professional requirements, this position will provide individualized psychiatric care to children and families.

Responsibilities

Candidates must demonstrate an ability to relate to and build positive connections with children and adults, be comfortable working in a strength-based and family-centered approach and be able to work effectively within a team environment. Complete Psychiatric assessments, diagnose and prescribe medications as well as oversee ongoing medication management functions. Complete required documentation and reports (internal/external). Work collaboratively with a clinical team centered in a wrap around philosophical modality.

 

 

Other duties related assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Current NP license with at least five years of full-time behavioral health work experience.
  • Current DEA Registration

 

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is required to submit a negative substance abuse test and provide fingerprint and criminal history background clearance. CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention are required trainings that are provided by the agency.
